Steadfast Holdings is a small business run by Roger Newton – an entrepreneur based in North London.  Roger formed the company in 1986 to manage his growing real estate development interests, specifically the refurbishment and trade of residential properties.

Roger additionally owns part of a carpet manufacturing firm in southeast Asia who wholesale to hotels and retailers around the world.  Roger frequently travels abroad to visit customers, attend trade fairs and manage his factories and offices in Malaysia. 

With businesses centred in two different countries, Roger often finds himself carrying out important transactions while abroad, but dreads the security risks involved.  With three different offices and a laptop - Roger was beginning to feel that his business life was unnecessarily divided into two worlds which was when he made contact with Primus about a finding a solution.   

Goal:

• Ensure financial transactions can be made securely
• Compartmentalise data and give access while abroad

Solution:

Primus equipped Roger with our Virtual IT solution which allows him to access his personal desktop from anywhere in the world.  He can now make secure financial transactions via the Primus server without worrying about dubious internet connections while overseas. 

With this hosted solution, Roger’s important documents and spreadsheets are kept safe, stored at our data centre.  He now keeps a single desktop for all his business endeavours – keeping everything including emails, diaries and filing in order and highly available regardless of whether he’s in Hawaii or Hertfordshire.
